The reason for this mail is to offer its members the following innovative course in Spain.

II COLORECTAL LAPAROSCOPIC COURSE ON CADAVERS “CONSERVATION THIEL”

Description of the course: The aim is to deepen the laparoscopic surgical technique in colorectal
and pelvis using:

Theoretical part: “How Can I do it and tricks”: Theoretical review with images and videos of the surgical maneuvers.

Practical part: Realization of the dissection, resection and anastomosis in cadaver with preservative “Thiel”
(allowing to maintain the color, texture, plasticity and flexibility of the fresh cadaver). There will be 2
students and one professor per cadaver.

Live surgeries: Assistance to Operation Room (OR) of Elche Hospital where they will be made laparoscopic colon procedures.
Target audience: Surgeons with an interest in the laparoscopy for colon and rectum.

Registration fee, includes:

• Accommodation – 2 nights and meals during the course.
• Surgical techniques on cadaver “Thiel” (2 students per cadaver and monitor)
• Assistance to theoretical sessions-video
• Documentation and Surgical material-dissection
• Attendance at face-to-face OR
