Diversity bias in colorectal surgery

Dear Members,

“diversity and potential gender bias in colorectal surgery” will be discussed in the forthcoming annual meeting of the European Society of Coloproctology which will be held next September.

As very little evidence on this matter has been developed in European countries and in order to snapshot the actual scenario in Italy, SICCR promotes a survey on this topic among their members, whose results will be presented at the congress by Franco Marinello (consultant colorectal surgeon at Vall d’Hebrón Hospital in Barcelona, Spain).
