SICCR’s New Council

The Election for the new Council was held on the occasion of SICCR’s fifth national congress, which took place in the “Carlo V” castle of Lecce, from the 7th to 9th October.
The great attendance at the congress and the turn out of voters went beyond our expectations, regardless of the adverse weather conditions, which made it difficult to reach the Baroque location.

At the end of the ballot the results obtained were as follows: Antonio Amato, Paola De Nardi, Massimiliano Mistrangelo, Francesco Bianco, Ferruccio Boffi, Claudio Coco, Fabio Marino, Vincenzo J. Greco, Alberto Serventi e Antonino Spinelli. Board of Trustees: Corrado Asteria and Giovanni Leoni. Substitute Trustee: Franco Catuogno. Soon after the elction the first meeting of the new Governing Council took place, during which Antonio Amato was elected President , Paola De Nardi Vice President , Fabio Marino Secretary and Ferruccio Boffi Treasurer.
The new Governing Council appears to be a young group of motived people who have as an excellent guide, alevel-headed president who is a person with great experience and who will guarantee further development of our society.

A special thanks goes to the former Council and past president Mario Trompetto for the excellent work carried out throughout the past two years and for having achieved the growth of the society as a whole.
