Update and aid for Ikonda

Some brief news from Ikonda. The work is always intense with patients in the hospital. Every day around 400 patients. The latest news is that we’re about to start a project duration of 18 months for the reduction of hospital infection and the diagnosis/treatment of TB.
It’s a project funded by the CEI and involving collaboration between the Infectious Diseases Department of the Gemelli Hospital in Rome and our Hospital. I think it will be an interesting experience and definitely helpful to improve the quality of work in Hospital.
I updated the files. As you can see from August the 12th arrivals are not foreseen at the time from Europe. I would urge everyone to evaluate the possibility to plan a visit in Ikonda, especially I extend a friendly reminder to friends orthopedic.
Best wishes
