Master of second level in “ Mini-invasive emergency surgery and modern technological applications”

The objectives of this master are to provide adequate cultural assistance, with reference to the prerequisites of mini-invasive surgery and the indications in emergencies and its current limits, the underlying principles to different surgical procedures , the problems linked to anaesthesiology, and the general management of the patient; to endow the surgeon with an expert understanding of the use of specific instruments, to guarantee a broad scientific knowledge of the application in emergency surgery; to provide practical training, by offering the surgeon the possibility to expand his own practical knowledge and experience in surgery. The professional figure who has completed this master will be able to carry out mini-invasive exploration of the abdominal cavity and the thoracic cavity in emergencies, and the principle operations in laparoscopy and in thoracoscopy and will also be able to transfer his specific knowledge to other people in his environment.
