In chirurgia, l’aprirsi inatteso, distinto in parziale e completo, di una cucitura chirurgica. Una _ può verificarsi sia superficialmente che su un organo interno, per tratti millimetrici o per molti centimetri e spesso corrisponde ad una complicanza post-operatoria importante; in chirurgia colorettale spesso si riferisce alla _ di un’anastomosi intestinale: ad esempio _ anastomotica colo-rettale.
